Between August 21, 2018 – October 17, 2018, Girls Rule Foundation will be accepting Nominations for our Brilliant, Beautiful and Bold Role Model Awards & Mentoring Program! The four winners receive $500 cash to further their dreams, plus a year of success and leadership mentoring, plus a basket filled with great prizes, along with the title 2018 Brilliant, Beautiful and Bold Role Model Winner.

 

We are looking for girls who are role models and leaders in their community or school who positively impacts others. If you know a girl who is a role model who deserves this opportunity to win $500 cash and a mentor for a year, NOW is your chance to take action and nominate her!

These awards are made possible through our donors and sponsors made to the Girls Rule Foundation, a 501c3 organization that is a leader in empowerment, leadership and educational programs for girls ages 12-18 that helps girls build leadership, self-confidence and bright futures through our 4 educational programs. What does it mean to be a Brilliant, Beautiful and Bold Role Model….

  • Brilliant – A girl who solves problems, fosters positive relationships, advocates for solutions not drama, she lives for ‘we’ instead of ‘me’. She creates solutions and makes her school or community a better place through her ideas and talents. She is a role model of solutions.
  • Beautiful – A girl with a beautiful heart who often use her time, money, voice or energy in local community involvement, volunteerism or making a difference for others in her family or school. She is a role model of kindness.
  • Bold – A girl who shows courage and bravery in her actions, choices or leadership. She is not only pursuing her dreams and goals, but often helps others to succeed too. She has the boldness to take risks and has the confidence to win or lose with grace. She is a role model of bravery.

 

Nominate a girl in your life who is a role model: Nominees must meet these requirements:

  • Use the form below no other submissions will be considered.
  • Girls must be between 12 and 18 years of age as of 11/3/18 and a U.S. citizen.
  • Be a role model in her community or school and exhibiting leadership and positively impacting others in some ways.
  • Provide her name, email, phone, age, grade and name of her current school.
  • Provide name, email and phone of parent and nominator.
  • The nominee, if she wins, will win $500 cash and be accountable for one 60 minute call per month w/ her success mentor who will help her work on her goals and dreams.
  • We will announce the winners AT the Nominee Reception November 3rd 630-830pm where the 4 winners will be awarded. All nominees are suggested to attend. 
  • Each nominee gets two tickets to the reception at no cost for her and a guest, additional tickets are $20.

  • Extended Deadline to submit nominations: October 17, 2018 at 6pm  (NO EXCEPTIONS)
  • Nomination application is below and you will get a confirmation once it is submitted. No other materials are needed.

Selection process:

  • Scholarship recipients will be selected from the sole application based on your submission below.
  • 4 Scholarship recipients will be announced at the Nominee VIP Reception November 3rd, 2018.
  • Each nominee gets two tickets to the reception at no cost for her and a guest, additional tickets are $20.
  • The awards committee will pick the 4 winners based on the nominator’s submission below.
  • There will be between 40-100 girls nominated for these awards.
  • The awards committee welcome nominations for girls living in Arizona who are U.S. citizens ages 12-18
