10 Reasons teens wants to attend our annual leadership camp:

  1. Exciting Activities: Who said becoming a leader can’t be fun? We have a BLAST with activities like: the ropes course, horses, kayaking, archery, journaling, dream circles, hikes, swimming, & campfire.
  2. Empowering Curriculum: Our 12 core leadership principles develop your girl’s leadership skills. From communication and collaboration to resilience and empathy, we cover it all. Each principle is crucial to navigate high school, workplaces, relationships, career, college and dreams successfully.
  3. Fun Team Building:  Through immersive team-building activities and group challenges, your girl will learn to work effectively with others, build trust, and inspire her peers to achieve common goals.
  4. Expert Guidance: The girls will learn from the best! Our experience plus our passionate coaches are dedicated to providing a great experience. With daily activities that range from the large
group of 30 girls to small groups of 6 girls, your girl will never be ‘stuck’ with one group. We keep things moving!
  5. Confidence Boosting: Confidence is key to effective leadership, and we’re here to help the girls unlock their confidence! We help them grow their confidence skills so she can explore her passions, discover her strengths, and build her dreams confidently. College/adulting/workplace is coming soon and we teach girls the tools to thrive.
  6. Great Life Skills: Beyond leadership, our camp equips girls with essential life skills they’ll carry with them into college/workplace. From time management and decision-making to problem-solving and resilience, your girl will leave camp feeling empowered and prepared to tackle any challenge life throws her way.
  7. Safe and Supportive Environment: We understand that sending your girl to camp is a big decision, which is why safety is our top priority. Our camp prioritizes the well-being of every camper with our team of 9, plus the staff of Chauncey Ranch, their director, their team, and their chef will all be there too.
  8. Lasting Friendships: Camp is about more than just learning—it’s about forging lifelong friendships and memories.
  9. Parental Involvement: We believe in keeping parents informed and involved. From regular texts and social media channels, you’ll stay updated.
  10. Financial literacy:  We are passionate about empowering and educating girls around money, so they will get ‘Monopoly’ money upon arrival to learn how to spend, save and budget in fun ways throughout the week. We will have powerful activities for girls to learn how to earn, save, spend, and budget money wisely!

Our coaches are extraordinary leaders and successful women in corporate or business owners. They are certified in the Girls Rule training and background checked for safety. They volunteer their week at camp because of their passion to make a difference for girls. Camper to Coach ratio is 6:1. We create a intimate, inclusive environment where the girls truly build themselves and build each other. In addition, there are two lead facilitators;  Dena Patton owner and cofounder of Girls Rule Foundation and Laurie Sliva Executive Director of Girls Rule Foundation, who are facilitators and trainers of 20+ years. They will be bringing their years of leadership and facilitation to camp to create an extraordinary experience for the girls. This will be the 9th Wings to Fly Camp!
